Q: How does the shell and tube copper heat exchanger work ?
A: Water flows into the copper tube and refrigerant gas flows between the shell and copper tube coil. Then the two different medium to exchanger heat.

Q: What difference between Type A and Type B shell and tube heat exchanger?
A: The only difference is that Type A has an accumulator but Type B not. Usually, most clients use Type A as condenser. So the accumulator is designed to contain more refrigerant gas to heat.
